Mark Farner @ Musician’s Friend
In December of 2006 we had the pleasure of capturing an interview with Mark Farner to produce a video piece that could be the most definitive video on Mark Farner. You can see it on his personal HOME PAGE – CLICK HERE.
Bill and I will get a chance to see Mark again in NY next week at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp.

The interview in which you speak of [@ MARKFARNER.COM] IS SPECTACULAR! How COOL is it to see Mr. Grand Funk Railroad~Axe Wielding/ Rock ICON speaking of his guitars and telling us how he gets his sound wall to fire at the audience!!!
The clips with the original Grand Funk are magical…plus the new songs that fit so well with what Mark is all about….Man, I’ve watched it multiple times now!
I love WHAT Mark Farner does onstage,[vocally strong & energetic] and now that I’ve heard his reasoning for doing it…I love WHY he does it too!
For the 22 minutes of “Farner Heaven”… Thanks you guys, REALLY A WONDERFUL JOB! Us fans appreciate you majorly! …More! …More!
Great stuff! Mark Farner is the essence of Grand Funks’ 70s’ success. His voice and his original guitar sound made GFR the high energy and captivating draw that made the summer of 69-70 the magical event of a lifetime, unparalleled entertainer!!
Fabulous job guys! Loved the interview and it’s great to see Mark Farner being recognized for the tremendous talent and person that he is.Bring us more,Larry
Great interview with Mark Farner. He has more energy and stage presence than people half his age, is a tremendous guitar player, AND a nice guy to boot.
The music clips are also great; they give everyone who hasn’t seen him live a chance to see what his shows are like.
Thank you so much for posting it, and I hope to see more of Mark from you. – Debbie.
Outstanding! Being a Farner fan, this was a dream come true for me. Watching the 22 min. video of Mark, his easy going, laid back, true self, talking about his music and equipment!
Many things I often wondered about were perfectly answered.
It was such a well covered interview, one of the very best I have even seen.
Thanks for a job well done!
I absolutely LOVE the interview. Intelligent questions, great camera work, good editing. It’s more than deserving to have someone with Mark Farner’s stature to finally be getting some respect. He did a great job witha great a pro interview. Thanks.
